SPOTLIGHT ON: Jen Poole

My gurl from different times, Jen, travels all up n' down the West Coast. She's following her dreams. She's landed a school in Cali and I couldn't be happier for her. She also sends some great mail to me. Lots of sewn envelopes and pieced together collages with some good stories to bulk them out.

She's resourceful in the best way possible, making her envelopes out of some interesting and tactile materials.

I wanted to tell y'all about the sweet mail I've been saving up to show you.


Here's a beautiful lil' mini guy from one of my forever closest friends, Kira. She's been all over everywhere. I hear talks about Cali and New Orleans and one of my second homes, Toronto. I love her A LOT.

This next package is from my party gurl Steph, and is basically the whole reason I haven't had time to update my blog in the past few months. She's up and moved to Vancouver for a little while. Maybe you'll see me around more often. Check out her mail style. REAL NICE.

And inside, a beautiful little flappy book with a note on the inside. I cannot divulge in a girls secrets, but I can assure you the note was filled with scratchy stories of cute boys and outfits. TYPICAL.

Too Much Life

Life is moving fast and everything si getting away from me, but I really don't care, I will be honest with you.

My room is a mess

My car is a mess

I am always sleepy

But I am happy.

This party fever shouldn't last forever, right?


With that being said, here are some Valentines that I still haven't sent:

REAL LIFE POST!

I went away.





It was beautiful. It wasn't far and it wasn't for long, but it was much needed amidst a bunch of things like this:



Drinking 100 shots of beer in 100 minutes. The equivelant of nine beers in an hour and a half.




Oh yeah, and outdoors at noon on Good Friday. Mind you, I did not participate in this, but it sounds like something I would do. And have tried to do in the past.





Late night escapades on motorcycles outside of house parties




Dark techno






Friday night, 4:30 in the morning (Saturday morning?), Laundry bin livin' is hard


Went to the hospital only once while I was off in the country, only once.






All in all, life has been good, and I'm looking forward to getting back into the normal swing of things? Hopefully spending less money and sending more mail.
