REAL LIFE POST!
I went away.

It was beautiful. It wasn't far and it wasn't for long, but it was much needed amidst a bunch of things like this:

Drinking 100 shots of beer in 100 minutes. The equivelant of nine beers in an hour and a half.

Oh yeah, and outdoors at noon on Good Friday. Mind you, I did not participate in this, but it sounds like something I would do. And have tried to do in the past.

Late night escapades on motorcycles outside of house parties

Dark techno

Friday night, 4:30 in the morning (Saturday morning?), Laundry bin livin' is hard
Went to the hospital only once while I was off in the country, only once.

All in all, life has been good, and I'm looking forward to getting back into the normal swing of things? Hopefully spending less money and sending more mail.

More Sent Mail!
Just as I promised, a few more things I am sending out. Mostly to folks in the IUOMA, but also some friends.
I've really been enjoying making these lately. It's been coming naturally, which I can't honestly say happens all the time. I've been crafting with a good friend of mine who pushes me to explore different materials and compositions. A key example of this is the vintage letraset strips as seen on Jen's postcard.
Down to business!

For Kiera in Montreal, this was one of my faves of the bunch. I've been into trying more minimal elements in my postcards. More white, more deadspace.

A pep talk for Joanna Carabante in California

For my good good friend Jen. I'm pretty sure she's on Salt Spring Island in British Columbia, but that girl is a west coast trotter, and I love her for it.

This one's for Robyn Wells who makes purdy purdy things: http://www.robayre.com/

SHOPPING TRIP!
I just found this video in my photo bucket from last winter when my best friend Ben and I went on a roadtrip to Montreal, Ottawa and Toronto. This was after a particularly successful shopping trip in Toronto. We're both paper-holics and decided to lay out everything we had gotten.
See what you can see: postcards, cards, calendars, books, stickers, old things, photos, notebooks, ephemera, and obviously more....

A Day At The Fair!
A surprise found Jenner and Chloe and I one day when we went to Value Village.
Not only did I have the best shopping trip ever, with hot scores like a pair of leather witchy boots, and a faux leapord print fur jacket, THE FAIR WAS IN TOWN!!

And the magic continued into the next evening when I attended a potluck at Sandras house, who taught my Tactile Notebook and the Written Word class. The students from both former classes attended. Great conversation was had throughout the whole night and it was great to see all my classmates whom I had not seen all summer. Check out this inspiring table setting!

It was on this day that I officially realized:
Autumn is here.

A birthday party with a missing birthday boy....
Went out for a coworkers brithday on Saturday night...
The pre-drink at Jenners was hilarious filled with car talk and living room dance-outs with her roomates friends.
The bar seemed awkward at first. Not our scene, and I saw my coworker once. With his shirt off, which made me decide to approach him later with my mix cd gift.
I did not see him later or any time after that, but the rest of the night was filled with rhinestoned bras (my own), blood on the dancefloor and secret sneaks outside for top secret things with Natasha and Elviro from my local coffee shop.
Made my way home, after a party drop by, where these photos were taken. Along the way, I talked to Todd on the phone and whispered (aka spoke obnoxiously loud as I stumbled home in heels) sweet nothings about loving him forever.
I may or may not have had to sleep with an empty waste basket beside my bed.
