Lost Disposables
When I go places, I take (or purchase) a disposible camera.
Now, this might seem pretty ordinary, but if you mix a disposible camera with a forgetful, messy and absent minded person like myself, you can usually count on never seeing those photos. At least not for another year.
For example: this roll from Calgary and early Spring of last year.
Or maybe the year before....

This balcony was the place to be for that whole summer. Girls singing to girls, girls smoking smokes, and laughing at other girls' jokes. I miss you, summer balcony.

I remember this day being unseasonably but welcomingly warm.

I don`t usually like being in photos, and this captures my `Whaddya want me to do, huh` face

Chloe`s my God.

My bite`s worse than my bark.

Hotel living in Calgary

This is my best friend Ben in Calgary, where we are mowing down on a special indoor BBQ. I miss him. Check out that sweet plate he made.

Nothing says "January" like some Halloween photos:
I went on vacation in October and had the time of my life.
So much so, that when I returned home to Halifax, I couldn't have fun anymore.
No matter what I tried, no fun. So I moved to the country to be beside the ocean, because I feel like this is what I am supposed to be doing right now.
Slowing down, being lonely and getting things done.
To help me relive the good ol` days (3 months ago), I`m sharing some photos of the weekend where I did a lot of things I shouldn`t have.

That's my Halloween costume. It's also Raven, my online gothic alterego.

Looks like she got a new big city hair do.

To party by way of piggyback.

Some pals found us in the Black Magick Massage Parlour

Us sitting outside of the church we peed on.

City Mail's Closing Show at Struts Gallery in Sackville, New Brunswick
Drove down to Sackville New Brunswick, about a two hour drive form where I live with two friends.
City Mail's Alison just finished off a residency at Struts Gallery. She spent her residency encouraging the locals of the town to write mail to each other and then she delivered it.
Hi Katie!!!

Behind Katie, you can see the map of the town, with indications of all the mail delivered.
We spent the night reading, laughing, dancing in kitchens, smoking smokes, and sending mail.
I was supposed to post this so long ago.

One of these days....
An endless game of catch-up.
At least it's a fun game!
Can't put them in order anymore, so I'll just spew it all out.

For Courtney Brook

This envelope may not look very "mail-art-y" but I can assure you, the insides are both beautiful and artistic.

For Kiera in California, an old mail pal from swap-bot. I got this envelope from a dump box in my friend's studio. Check out the beautiful back:

For Regina from sendsomething.net. She recently sent me a BEAUTIFUL postcard so I'm returning the favour.

For Dewi

For April Kam

For another Kiera!

For Amy Deluxx

For Me (Not me)

For Kol

For my good friend Jen, who just moved all the way to Cali

For my good friend Jess, being sent through City Mail!

For Boo Cartledge

For Miss M. Turner

For Zane Korneva from sendsomething.net

For JoAnna

For JJ!

For Anna Maria from sendsomething.net

For a Kid Once Again on sendsomething.net!
Phew! Wish me luck on my next leg of the mailart365 journey!
